For many years, the Study Center for the Visually Impaired (Studienzentrum für Sehgeschädigte - SZS) has been supporting and advising students and prospective students with visual impairments in all subjects of study offered at the KIT.
The Chair of Computer Systems for Visually Impaired Students was established in 2011 by Professor Rainer Stiefelhagen. Since then, SZS has been pursuing new research focuses.
Information about dates, topics, services, projects and courses can be found at SZS News.
